Sake. A drink so refined and complex deserves to be understood. Quietly, it has appeared on plenty of menus – but still maintains its mystery. It is time to break down the fear barrier and begin enjoying sake in all its glory.

Don’t know where to start? Can’t read the labels? Afraid you won’t like it? Fret not!

A Sydney’s first, the 2.5 hours Sake Masterclass will introduce you to the world of premium Japanese sake.  Join us to learn how to select and drink sake with confidence of a connoisseur.

We will be tasting 6 – 8 premium brands to understand the differences between grades, types and brewing regions. We have partnered with Sydney’s Toko restaurant and will be featuring sake that is exclusively available at Toko. A great opportunity to try sake not normally offered by the glass.

A fun, interactive masterclass will cover:

– Grades and types

– Basics of sake brewing

– Storage, serving and food matching

– Regionality of sake

– Chemistry of taste

You will walk away knowing all the right lingo. Prepare to outshine most sommeliers and impress all your friends.

Suitable for enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. Finger food will be served.

For enquiries, please email  slava “at” sakeguide.com.au or get in touch via the contact form.
